This was the Beatles' thirteenth and final album release. Let It Be was originally released as a Box Set, with "The Beatles Get Back" book. Of course the album went straight to the number 1 position within the Melody Maker, New Musical Express and Record Retailer charts. It stayed there for 3 weeks from the 23rd of May 1970. The release date was the 8th of May 1970 for the box set and the 6th of November for normal album release.

This one up for auction is from the very Boxset mentioned.....

 After giving her a gentle vacuum clean I have just had the utter pleasure of playing her all the way through-at volume!...She provided a beautiful sound reproduction with NO significant background noise to speak of!
I popped my arm on the lightest setting, turned the volume right up, sat back and marvelled at the quality of the audio blasting out!
Even the run-ins and transitions inbetween tracks were lovely and quiet.
To be ultra critical-I noticed some very light background crackle in some light sections-It just reminded me I am listening to a quality slab of VINYL and not a digital recording...Sounded more like static really.
Just some very light marks-visible when angled towards the light and looking for them-certainly nothing AT ALL to affect playback.
 Still has that gorgeous shine.

 Superb condition...No writing, rips or tears.
I can only see evidence of a small handful of LIGHT spindle marks, which are ONLY evident when angled toward the light-and specifically looking for them..Lovely!
MINIMAL central hole wear to mention!

  Shiny, glossy, rich black colour to both sides. The pictures of the Beatles shine out in all their glory.
The back cover has the very 1st printing run from the Boxset: RED APPLE above the An E.M.I Recording and Apple Records text at the bottom. The spine is still lovely and strong...you can clearly see the writing down the spine "The Beatles Let It Be" & "Apple Recods PCS 7096."

There has been a very well repaired small tear to the opening of around 2.5cm...Not particularly evident-see if you can spot it in the detailed images provided...The cover keeps its integrity very well indeed.

All I note is a few small lines of spidering to the laminate and a very light bit of rubbing to the top and bottom of the spine. Other than that there are just a couple of TINY fingers of spidering emanating from the edges with nothing to worry about at all.

 The original die-cut and lined "Made In Great Britain" inner. Not only that, but it is THE EARLIEST inner of this type as it has the "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" text printed to the bottom left corner-which goes hand in hand with this very 1st pressing.
WITHOUT writing.
WITHOUT splits.
Just some very light creasing-That's it! ...
Certainly done the job in looking after this wonderful slab of vinyl for the past 51 years!

I have just played her all the way through and found she provides an extremely good, rich sound reproduction, with barely ANY background noise...All I noticed was a couple of very light and incredibly brief (one or two revolutions) pops which are not offensive at all.
There are just light marks to this wonderful heavy slab of vinyl.
*EVEN THE RUN-INS WERE AS CLOSE TO SILENT YOU COULD HOPE FOR*
Certainly no jumps, skips or sticks-utter quality slab of vinyl here.
I am using a Focus One Deck with SMK arm and Audio Technica stylus....On a very light setting.
Both sides sounds deep and rich.
Still has that gorgeous shine.

DEEP MATTE GREEN APPLE labels which are as sharp in print today as they were when born in the 70's.
 No writing.

The edge near the spine has a couple of small bubble of lifting to the laminate, but they are not broken through.
VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER.
Would frame well.
NO SPLITS OR TEARS to the cover.
