Firstly a bit of history of the album.....HELP was the BEATLES'  5th album coming out on the 6th August 1965. The premier of the album was played in London on the 29th July. Once again reaching the top spot in all record magazines of that era...as they had done with the previous four albums!

Quiet run-ins BUT, the first approx 10 seconds on track 1, side 1 has had some shilling and is distorted-That is a shame as the rest of the album has LOVELY AUDIO, with only the odd and occasional background noise and one other spot of around 2 seconds of shilling.
Only light marks to her-which CERTAINLY DO NOT MAKE HER SKIP OR JUMP
Lovely rich sound reproduction.
A gentle professional clean will help.


Labels: EX+. Lovely and clear... Only a couple incredibly light Spindle marks-visible when angled towards the light as well as superficial marks to side 1.
Has the 1st type Sans Serf text.
 Outer text "The Gramophone co.LTD"
 DOES have the "Sold in the .U.K." text.

IT ALSO HAS AN EXTRA DOT ON SIDE 1, SOLD IN UK TEXT:
"SOLD IN .U.K."
THE DOT BEFORE THE 'U' IN UK! I have seen this on the 1st pressings of Help, but not this pressing.

Track 4, side 1 has the '*' AFTER the "I Need You Title" rather than the later printing, which put it BEFORE the song title.
Which is strange as track 1, side 2 has the credit of Lark Music (rather than the earlier Lark Mus.)
SHOWING THIS TO POSSIBLY BE A RATHER RARER TRANSITIONAL PRESS

Of note too, is the slight smudging to the printing of the £ sign on the side 1 label.

All very unusual.

Barely any rubbing to the corners.
ONLY around 4 small cresents of spidering and some small fingers eminating from the spine to this lovely white, fully laminated cover.
That is it.
