Here is an fantastically preserved original Beatles Vee Jay album from my collection offered up for sale:  An AUTHENTIC Vee Jay records lp album by the THE BEATLES, released in 1964 "SONGS PICTURES AND STORIES OF THE FABULOUS BEATLES"  on Vee Jay records VJ-1092. This is an original AUTHENTIC 1964 Vee Jay pressing with the RARE black labels and unusual Vee Jay block style logo. 
 Vee Jay Records were the first company in the U.S. to offer a Beatles album after Capitol records balked at British artists doing well in the states. The band's success here changed all that and Vee Jay was ultimately forced to stop selling the "Introducing the Beatles" album. Rather than destroy the their back stock of records they continued to sell them in this cool new packaging with a gatefold cover and a new title (Song's Pictures and Stories of the Fabulous Beatles ) and number VJ-1092 (on cover only). They were quickly back in court with more lawsuits and were forced to stop ALL sales in ANY cover by early 1965. This is why record buyers in late 1964 opened their new VJ-1092 "Songs Pictures and Stories" album to find an "Introducing the Beatles" VJ-1062 record inside.  This still confuses record collectors to this day but is a historic find for Beatles in the USA story!
The vinyl rates EX, is super glossy and clean, has a few light marks but nothing heavy at all,mostly sleeve wear, has been play tested. Plays with bright deep sound, ,VERY quiet when you set the needle down and between tracks! no skips or jumps, a very enjoyable listen! Awesome 57 year old Beatles collectable! 
The cover rates EX, has great front portraits, edges have VERY light wear, top seam split 1/2" at opening, record jacket bottom sleeve neatly repaired with clear tape at bottom center and barely noticeable, binder edge EX and readable, corners EX, back has practically no ring wear, NO writing or signatures. Inside gatefold clean and bright, The original Vee Jay inner sleeve has fraying/tears at opening and splits neatly taped. (see all photos) Fantastic overall beauty!
