Here is a SUPER RARE vintage Johnny Cash album from my collection offered up for auction: "JOHNNY CASH Sings The Songs That Made Him Famous" Johnny's 2nd ever album on SUN Records 1235, this was Johnny's second album with Sun Records, signaling a long and productive career! This is the FIRST PRESS featuring the heavy rigid disc and yellow Sun labels. Released by Sun Records in 1958 in glorious MONO. The vinyl rates VG+/EX, clean and glossy, a couple of light marks, nothing heavy, plays great with excellent audio clarity! A bit of light surface noise only noticeable between tracks, a very enjoyable listen! The SUN labels are in EX condition, clean and bright, no signatures. The jacket rates EX, is clean, still has deep color, nice portrait of Johnny, still has vintage store sticker with 4 digit phone number! Cool! The edges and corners solid, no tape, the binder edge EX and readable, 1/4" split at center bottom, barely noticeable, back cover is clean and bright. There is NO RESERVE PRICE!
