Description

Here is a vintage album from my collection offered up for sale: Cheech & Chong's Grammy nominated 2nd album "Big Bambu", released in 1972 by Ode SP 77014 Stereo. This is a complete original 1st pressing, has di-cut gatefold cover that simulates rolling paper packaging, giant rolling paper insert and printed inner sleeve. This stand up comedy album features cool storytelling, opens with "Sister Mary Elephant", from a Dog's perspective in "Ralph and Herbie", trivia questions with prizes in "Lets Make A Dope Deal" and more. Iconic album, these originals that still have the paper are getting SCARCE!
The vinyl rates strong VG+, is clean and glossy, has a few very light sleeve marks and a couple small light marks, nothing heavy, has been well cared for. PLAY TESTED, plays very good from start to finish with a few background pops at the lead-in edge, overall minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen!
The cover rates EX, is clean and bright with great color, seams and corners solid and binder edge readable, inside gatefold clean and bright, no splits or tears to the di-cut, has some very light age discoloration spots near edges, no signatures or writing. The paper insert is clean and bright, has some wrinkles, no tears, no stains. Inner sleeve is clean and bright, has center split neatly taped. (see photos)
Will be shipped in a .3 ml plastic sleeve in a record box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in it's paper sleeve outside the cover to prevent cover splits. Check my list eBay store "Groove Vibrations Vintage records" for other cool rock album gems. Buy more than one item at a time and we will ship them together. Media rate shipping can take up to 9 days but is usually much faster.
