FOR PERSONAL REASONS, I AM LOWERING THE PRICES ON ALL MY VINYL AND AUCTIONS - SOME FAR BELOW COMPETITIVE.  MAKES FOR SOME RARE ITEMS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AT LOW PRICES - BEST OF ALL WORLDS FOR COLLECTORS.

THIS VERY ENTERTAINING 1ST EDITION LP ENTITLED "THE WORLD IS A GHETTO" IS PERFORMED BY A POPULAR GROUP KNOWN AS "WAR" ON THE "UNITED ARTISTS " RECORD LABEL NUMBERED UAS-5652 IN ENHANCED STEREO.  THE STEREO IS REALLY GREAT ON THIS ONE.

AS THE PHOTOS SHOW, THE ALBUM COVER IS EXCELLENT WITH NO MAJOR FLAWS AND A BARE MINIMUM OF ANY AGE WEAR AT ALL.  THERE IS A HINT OF MINOR RING WEAR, BUT ALMOST HAVE TO LOOK FOR IT - MINOR ISSUE FOR SURE. (SEE PHOTOS).  

THE VINYL IS ALSO EXCELLENT AND PLAYS JUST AS EXCELLENT.  I PLAYED BOTH SIDES, AND IT PLAYED BEAUTIFULLY WITH ONE TRULY MINOR ISSUE.  WHEN I PLAYED SIDE 2, THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE RECORD ON THE FIRST SONG (FOUR-CORNERED ROOM WHICH IS 8 MINUTES AND 30 SECONDS) CONTAINED SOME "CRACKLING" FOR ONLY THE FIRST 20 SECONDS. 

AFTER THOSE FIRST 20 SECONDS, THE REMAINDER OF THE RECORD (BOTH SIDE 1 AND 2) PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY.  IF I WAS GRADING THIS VINYL SIMPLY VISUALLY, THERE IS NO WAY I WOULD BE ABLE TO KNOW THAT FACT.  THAT IS WHY I TEST PLAY EVERY RECORD I SELL.

HOWEVER, THOSE FIRST 20 SECONDS WITH A FEW CRACKLES DO NOTHING TO LESSEN THE HIGH QUALITY STEREO SOUND FOR THE REMAINING 45 MINUTES.  THERE ARE 45 MINUTES OF BEAUTIFUL MUSIC ON THE LP THAT PLAY PERFECTLY.  THOSE FIRST 20 SECONDS THAT EXPERIENCE THAT CRACKLING IS SIMPLY A MINOR ISSUE, BUT IT IS MY JOB TO REPORT EVERY ASPECT OF THE ALBUM THAT I CAN.  I TRULY DOUBT THAT ALL SELLERS REPORT SUCH DETAILS IN THEIR AUCTIONS.

THE MUSIC INCLUDES A UNIQUE ARRAY OF SONGS THAT WERE HIT SONGS FOR  "WAR."  YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED IN EITHER THE EXCELLENT CONDITION OR THE GREAT MUSIC ON THIS LP.   ALTHOUGH ALL THE SONGS HAVE THAT CERTAIN SOUL/FUNK SOUND PROVIDED BY "WAR," MY FAVORITE HAS GOT TO BE "THE CISCO KID."

THIS IS NOT A STOCK PHOTO.  YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU SEE, AND WHAT YOU SEE IS AN LP IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH GREAT MUSIC.

BY THE WAY, THOSE LITTLE WHITE DOTS YOU MAY SEE IN THE PHOTOS ON THE SHINY VINYL ARE SIMPLY REFLECTIONS OF A CHANDELIER I HAVE HANGING OVER THE TABLE WHERE I TAKE THE PHOTOS.  THEY ARE DEFINITELY NOT ON THE VINYL ITSELF.
