THE EXCITING YEARS -- Various Artists -- hard to find, original 1966 U.S. album. Ex. rare, promo only compilation LP on the Columbia Special Products label featuring Bob Dylan, The Yardbirds, The Remains, Paul Revere & The Raiders, The Dave Clark Five, Chad & Jeremy and others. What makes this especially sought-after is that all tracks are MONO ONLY VERSIONS, inc. the rare unfaded mono version of Dylan's "One Of Us Must Know (Sooner Or Later)" off "Blonde On Blonde." Other cuts include The Yardbirds' cover of "My Girl Sloopy," the Remains' classic garage raver "Diddy Wah Diddy", The Byrds' "It Won't Be Wrong" and more -- again, all in glorious mono.
