The BEATLES

LET IT BE

EX-/EX

HEAVY 158g

*ALL COMPLETE AND ORIGINAL*

(Cleaned with Pro-Ject VC-S MkII Record Cleaner)

This was the Beatles' thirteenth and final album release. Let It Be was originally released as a Box Set, with "The Beatles Get Back" book. Of course the album went straight to the number 1 position within the Melody Maker, New Musical Express and Record Retailer charts. It stayed there for 3 weeks from the 23rd of May 1970. The release date was the 8th of May 1970 for the box set and the 6th of November for normal album release.

Vinyl:

QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL 158g

Vacuum & Ultrasonically cleaned.

EX(-) visually, EX audio.

I have just played her all the way through and found she provides an extremely clean, rich sound reproduction, with barely ANY background noise...All I noticed was a couple of very light and incredibly brief (one or two revolutions) soft pops which are not offensive at all.

There are just a handful of light marks-which are NOT feelable to the finger tip-to this wonderful heavy slab of vinyl. One crosses tracks 3 & 4 on side 1 but barely registers in the audio on playback.

*EVEN THE RUN-INS WERE AS CLOSE TO SILENT YOU COULD HOPE FOR*

Certainly no jumps, skips or sticks-utter quality slab of vinyl here.

I am using a Focus One Deck with SMK arm and Audio Technica stylus....On a very light setting.

Both sides sounds deep and rich.

Still has that gorgeous shine.

Labels:

EX+.

*VERY, VERY DISPLAYABLE*

MATTE GREEN APPLE labels which are as sharp in print today as they were when born in the 70's.

No writing.

Only some very light spindle marks..just visible when angled toward the light and looking for them..Lovely!

Cover:

EX+

Shiny, glossy, rich, black in colour and laminated to both sides.

The pictures of the Beatles shine out in all their glory.

The back cover has the green apple above the EMI and Apple records text at the bottom.

The spine is still lovely and strong...you can clearly see the writing down the spine "The Beatles Let It Be" & "Apple Records 7096."

There is just a small line of spidering to the front, near the opening, with just a couple of incredible small fingers of spidering emanating from the edges, to the back.

REALLY NICE FRAMEABLE COVER HERE

VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER.

NO SPLITS OR TEARS

PLEASE SEE THE DETAILED IMAGES PROVIDED (click on the for even larger and more detailed images) AND READ MY HONEST FEEDBACK FOR TRUE GRADINGS AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

SHE STILL SOUNDS GREAT, IS FLAT AS THE DAY SHE WAS BORN AND ALL COMPLETE WITH A SUPERB EARLY EMI INNER.
