About This Record.  This is an original rarely spotted original Stereo USA copy of Jimi Hendrix's first LP from 1967 that was released in the USA on the tricolor "Steamboat label" which is in the original shrink-wrap.  The shrink has a price sticker removal mark and a price code removal mark.  Both can be removed, and both are on the shrink-wrap. The matrix numbers end in -1F on Side One, and -1A on Side Two, indicating one of the earliest of all possible pressings. Nice keeper copy.  Total original package.

Cover Condition: Excellent Plus (EX+)  In original shrink-wrap that has some stains only on the shrink wrap from removed price sticker and price code.  This has no # number on the back of the cover in the bottom right corner because there was no reason for the first pressing cover to have a number.  NOTE: Shrink is torn on bottom seam about 5 inches, but is otherwise intact.  All the shrink is there, but just torn and carefully folded over the remaining.  So Why do I say cover is EX+?  There is a very VERY very small tear at top right, from a fingernail or something in the cover near opening edge.  TOP copy.  Please see all my Photos.  I didn't take them for fun and frolic.

Vinyl Condition: Very Good Plus (VG+) vinyl.  Shows very noticeable paper marks and a few VERY VERY light scuffs, but nothing major; although it LOOKS strong VG, it plays NICE VG+ to EX, except a little background noise between tracks.  NICE keeper copy.

Labels. Excellent (EX) /better.  Some spindle marks on the labels, but no tears or writing or anything nasty.

Inserts: Comes with original Reprise Records factory inner sleeve featuring other artists in nice condition, but no worries, this also comes in a new rice paper style sleeve after cleaning.

Packaging.  I clean all vinyl on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original.  I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection.  I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least two insert stiffeners, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.
