About This Record. I COMBINE Shipping. This is an original USA mono copy of Love's LP entitled "Forever Changes" released in the USA by Elektra Records. This is a copy of the RARE mono version of one of the psych Holy Grail LPs for more than the past 30 years, and impossible to find in mono format. Also, one of the few "psych" (but ain't that an orchestra playing in many spots?) LPs acclaimed by critics of the Rock music scene that I now like after many years of not understanding it.
Look for me on Discogs after I get kicked off eBay for not "registering" for their new program . . . as eBay if forcing everyone to use their STUPID "Global Shipping Program" if you "Register" for eBay's "Managed Payment" system which they appear to be requiring everyone to do :(
PLEASE CHECK my Feedback which will show you my grading, Cover/Vinyl, of other 45rpms and LPs I have recently sold graded Mint Minus (you won't find any) but you can find NM or EX or EX- or VG+ or VG (or whatever) AND what the lucky people who bought them think of them and our experience. The photos of the labels or cover list the songs and any possible details about the labels.
I offer FULL REFUND (no questions asked) including shipping both ways for USA buyers in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase). Comes cleaned on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaner and placed in a new dust-free sleeve for your grandchildren. And at least one plastic sleeve for moisture protection (for you and me).
Cover Condition: Excellent (EX) keeper cover. Would be Near Mint (NM) but their are two small tears in the cover slick on the back cover (see photos), and just a hint of agewear, more on the back cover. Top Keeper copy of the cover because the white covers usually have major ring wear, but this has been sleeved in my collection for decades.
Vinyl Condition: STRONG Very Good (VG). Nice and shiny vinyl that plays mainly EX, BUT you can see a few obvious light stylus marks on each side that don't affect play much, nothing deep. . . Absolutely no skips, jumps, sticks . . . , but unfortunately you can hear pops in some of the slower songs like "Old Man" which has background noise over most of the song) there are a few pops in some songs, and while the dead wax between songs is quiet between some songs, in others it is noticeable. This falls short of VG+ although many songs play EX. Comes Ultrasonic cleaned so it is ready to play! The photos show the Matrix numbers in the trail out area of the vinyl.
Labels. Near Mint (NM) labels. See photos in case I missed something.
Inserts: Comes with original Elektra Records Factory orange and white "Elektra" branded paper innersleeve, which has one small tear in the opening edge in the middle, and one seam it totally split (see photos).
Packaging. I clean all vinyl on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original. I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve from the cover after cleaning, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection. I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack in an MLP-1 oversize box with corner protectors, or a regular NICE cardboard box with stiffeners if needed, and I place neon stickers on the front and/or back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.
