About This Record. This is another cool LP from my Vinyl Vault! This is a cool USA Very first pressing of Love's LP from 1967 entitled "Forever Changes" in its seriously rare and most sought after mono format. This is one of the best 100 LPs ever produced and the mono version takes that listening experience to a new height. Nice keeper copy as these things go, but not perfect. I offer full refund including shipping both ways (for USA and foreign buyers in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase. Comes hand-cleaned on my VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning machine (hate those automated 17's) and placed in a new dust-free sleeve for your grandchildren. And at least one plastic sleeves for moisture protection (for you and me).
Cover Condition: Excellent (EX) cover with just light shelf wear and ring wear and the most minor corner wear; totally solid spine and seams. Stereo sticker over front Mono cover designation in nice shape. Guess everybody was too stoned this evening at Elektra and put a stereo gold sticker on the cover for our future enjoyment. But this is a mono first pressing cover, just with a stereo sticker on the front. Please See all the Photos I took. I didn't take them for fun and frolic.
Vinyl Condition: Very Good Plus (Vg+) condition. Nice enough copy. Some clicks and pops, no major problems; this was a notoriously noisy vinyl pressing and it took me decades to find a nicer copy than this one. I could never live without a copy of this LP. VERY highly recommend LP and pressing.
Labels. Near Mint (NM) labels. See Photo. Please see photos of all labels.
Inserts: Comes with original factory Elektra plain orange/white Elektra inner paper sleeve, but no worries, the vinyl also comes in a new rice paper sleeve and hand-cleaned on my VPI record cleaning machine and in a new rice paper equivalent sleeve so the old Dust does not reattach! Oh My Gosh!
Packaging. I clean all vinyl on my V.P.I. Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original. I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection. I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least two insert stiffeners, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.
