Description
This is a test pressing of the single “New Orleans Is the New Vietnam” by Eyehategod and intended for sale on their European tour. It was hoped that these would be ready for the bands current tour. But due to issues with the pressing, it was not ready. The single contains a brand new song on the a-side and an etching on the back. But the vinyl pressing company pasted a label on the etched side. The pressing has yet to be approved because of the label being on the etching. It is doubtful that this particular pressing will ever see distribution. Of course, the plan was to have the etched side without a label. Only 26 of these were pressed for approval. There are two colors of vinyl, green and glow-in-the-dark. This copy is number #9 of 26 and is pressed on green vinyl. This is a super rarity.
The 7" comes in a single sheet sleeve. The etching in the picture shown is almost not visible. The design is the same as the emblem on the jacket to the left of the words "test pressing". The vinyl has never been played and the packaging is in excellent condition.
