"Hell Freezes Over" is the historic reunion of the Eagles in April 1994, which resulted in a 9-platinum album, which was on the charts for 2 weeks and produced a mega-successful 2-year tour. And now, on the 8th March, Geffen / USM celebrates the 25th Anniversary of this momentous release with the Hell Freezes Over reissue on 180g black vinyl (2LP).
The album, originally produced by the Eagles with Elliot Scheiner and Rob Jacobs, was extensively remastered by Bob Ludwig for modern, high-quality vinyl.
"Hell Freezes Over" shows the band's long run era - drummer / vocalist Don Henley, guitarist / vocalist Glenn Frey, guitarist / vocalist Joe Walsh, guitarist / vocalist Don Felder and bassist / vocalist Timothy B. Schmit - with four new studio tracks as well as 11 live recordings from the reunion sessions from 25. and 26. April 1994 at Warner Burbank Studios in Burbank, California, which subsequently aired as a high profile MTV special.
