Description

An original 1st press of HC for the UK market. Matrix A1/B1. Note that there are lots of copies from the late seventies - that were pressed at varying quality levels. If you get the 1st copy - you will be purchasing better quality. The vinyl is not heavy by any means - but it is more solid than a lot of the seventies wobbly board nonsense. The vinyl comes housed in an original heavy card cover. There's the bespoke inner and the poster. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In excellent condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a few slightest marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with deviation in a couple of tracks. Intros and inbetweens are nice and clean and the audio comes across with great clarity. This title is hellishly difficult to find playing clean right through. A few of the tracks are super fussy and, of course, it was rather a major hit and very popular [to put it mildly]. Expect a bit of light background in 'New Kid' - it is seriously difficult to avoid to be frank. Nothing upfront - but will not play clean like the rest of the LP. And also in 'Pretty Maids' too. Overall a splendid rendition.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) In super order and that aesthetic on the front is really well preserved without fading, wear or creasing. Ditto the rear. Perfect interior. Hardly any edge wear and sharp firm openings. The spine is 99% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity in part thanks to the heavy card employed in manufacture.
Inner (Ex) No splits. Very smart. No foxing or colour discolouration..
Poster (Ex) No issues. Real nice.
