Description
Eagles "On The Border"
This is an original US vinyl pressing on Asylum 7E-1004 from 1974. This is a white label promo copy. There is a promo sticker on the front cover that says " Airplay Suggestions : 'Already Gone', 'You Never Cry Like A Lover', 'Midnight Flyer', and 'James Dean'. The cover is textured. It comes with a mint minus two-sided mini poster. It was produced by Bill Szymczyk. The cover is by Gary Burden, with photos by Henry Diltz, and lettering by Rick Griffin.
The hits include 'Best Of My Love', 'Already Gone', and 'James Dean'. 'Ol' 55' was written by Tom Waits. This is one of their very best albums.
The writing on the inner groove on side two says 'He Who Hesitates Is Lunch', and it has tiny crossed out lines all over it.
Overall Condition is : Cover is M- / Record is M-
The cover is Mint minus with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits. The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. The record comes in a plain black inner sleeve.
The songs are : Already Gone, You Never Cry Like A Lover, Midnight Flyer, My Man, On The Border, James Dean, Ol'55, Is It True, Good Day In Hell, and The Best Of My Love.

I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
Postage : Weight : 1 pound 5 ounces
You have to pay for the postage. I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges. There are no handling charges. This record will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship. US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail. All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number. Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International. You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number. ( Buyers from Brazil must assume all risks for shipping to their country. ) I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday) I will combine shipping if you win more than one record. Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
