Description
Earth Wind & Fire OZ 2nd Press ST LP NM ’73 Warner WS1905 Soul Funk psyche
OZ 2nd Press LP released in 1973 on Warner Records. Cat: WS1905.
The debut for the nine-member Earth, Wind & Fire was as assured as that of any rock band from the '60s and early '70s. Already fluent with the close harmonies of the classiest soul groups, the deep funk of James Brown, and the progressive social concerns and multiple vocal features of Sly & the Family Stone, the group added (courtesy of auteur Maurice White) a set of freewheeling arrangements, heavy on the horns, that made Earth Wind and Fire one of their finest albums.
Tracks : Help somebody/ Moment of truth/ Love is life/ Fan the fire/ C'mon children/ This world today/ Bad tune.
There are a few very light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and a few very light scratches that cause some crackles and is in VG+ condition. Gloss cover has a small sticker stain on front and some light marks and is in Excellent condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.
