Mega Rare Ed Lincoln Dick Farney Trio 10” LP Brazil Jazz 1956

This is an incredibly rare 10” jazz LP from Brazilian modern jazz pianist Dick Farney with Ed Lincoln on bass!

Before Ed Lincoln became synonymous with the Hammond organ he was a bass player in various jazz groups in Rio in the mid to late 50s.

Original Brazilian 10” LPs in any kind of playable condition are very rare. This one needs a clean (looks like mostly age related mould spots from the paper cover) and has some marks and a  surface scuff on side A - all things that you’d expect but the vinyl is visually very glossy and the cover is in excellent shape. See pics.

You can see from the condition of the labels that cleaning should restore the vinyl without significant issues. (most of my records were cleaned on professional machines but this one seems to have been missed out back in the day)

PLEASE NOTE: I no longer own a record player and these gradings are VISUAL.

Dick Farney Trio - Continental LPP-29

A1 Valsa De Uma Cidade

A2 Tenderly

A3 Com Você Meu Bem

A4 Contigo En La Distancia

B1 You Stepped Out Of A Dream

B2 Deep Purple

B3 Nick Bar

B4 Farney's Blues

PLEASE NOTE: Brazilian vinyl from this era ALWAYS had pops and other small issues when playing even when factory sealed.

In the early 90s I was a record dealer buying in Brazil and I would always keep the best condition copies of great albums for myself. Records in Brazil in those days were almost always trashed or ruined with sticky alcohol (supposedly to clean them). Any pristine examples I would hang on to and clean them back in the UK on a professional industrial grade record cleaner.

All records shipped in HEAVY DUTY record mailers!
