Eddie Floyd (Stax) - original 1967 performance contract.

A chance to own a unique piece of soul music history. From the Walden Artists and Promotions / Paragon estate. Phil Walden was a close friend and business partner of Otis Redding, and was responsible for managing the appearances of most contracted R&B acts from Stax, Atlantic and other labels across the southern states in the 1960s and early 1970s. This contract is for two appearances by Eddie Floyd at a venue in Wilson, North Carolina. The performance dates in July 1967 coincide with Eddie's Stax recording period. The document outlines the terms, conditions, venue location, rehearsal times and deposit payable by the individual booking the artist.

In very good condition for age. A well preserved item, especially considering this document is over 50 years old.
