My name is Chuck Dukowski and I was the bass player for Black Flag until the end of '83 and an owner of SST records until the end of 1989. I'm selling some of my collection. This is a very rare copy of Eddie and the Subtitles 1981"Skeletons in the Closet" LP.  It features the truly great classic original version of AMERICAN SOCIETY which has been covered by a few bands including L7. Eddie and his band are tied into the BLACK FLAG lore having appeared with BLACK FLAG at the seminal Polliwog Park show and the first BLACK FLAG Starwood show. Eddie was the godfather of the Orange County scene and he and his music were super influential and important to the Orange County groups like the Adolescents, Screws and many more. This record is a crazy aritfact. Eddie cut corners. He printed the jackets in Black and White and skipped having a printed paper label on the actual disc. Though great they were never super popular so there were not a lot of these made. The record features cover art by Shawn Kerry and was produced by Geza X. It's been loved but it's still in good shape and has no noticable scratches and a clean un-dogeared cover.)
