Description
Phonograph 78RPM Thick Record
I will be posting a Diamond Disc here and there; this is the first. I bought an Edison Phonograph and a box of discs at an auction when I was a kid. I was so proud of it, but it stayed behind when I went on to college and..well) It's been 30 years and the player (along with the box of records) has been gathering dust in storage since.
This is a duplicate in the box.
Please take note: I am an admirer of all things nostalgic. I am NOT a collector, nor am I qualified to rate the quality of vintage records. I have taken several photos; please look through them.
The record is in remarkable shape. The labeling looks very good on both sides. Minimal discoloring. There is a slight lift on the 'Love' label, although it's less than 1/2 inch in size.
The minor flaws: both on the 'Love' side. There is a small scar on the outside edge (where the needle touches down) as well as light scratching visible on the center part of the record after the music stops. I've taken photos of these.

An Ugly Gal's Got Something Hard To Beat / Love Is A Ticklish Thing
I have not had tge pleasure of playing the record as the phonograph needs work before it's usable. The grooves look perfect, though. See photos.
Thank you.
