Description

Here is what I believe to be an unplayed Edison Diamond Disc Sample Record in its original sleeve. This is a very clean copy which does have some finger prints by me and a light rub. This was acquired over 30 years ago with another copy and both were in these sleeves. The sleeve has some minor tears. Record is very shiny and clean and never played by me. Labels are very clean and titles of the sample songs are:

Side L - Lucia Sexette F. (Himmelreich), The Bloom is on the Rye (Young & Wheeler), Forest Whispers (Reed Orchestra), Forgotten (Thomas Chambers), Mother Machree (Walter Van Brunt)

Side R - I'll take you Home Again Kathleen (Van Brunt), Ave Maria (Carl Flesch), When I'm Gone You'll Soon Forget (Van Brunt & Clark), Birds and the Brook (Reed Orchestra), Teenie Eenie Weenie (Clark & Phillips)

There is no record number on this sample record. Where there should be a number is blank. (Review Pictures)

This would be a very nice addition to any Edison or record collection!

Just wanted to let you know that what you have here is the extremely rare long play sample record (therefore no number, just R And L) you will need a long playing Edison phonograph with a long playing reproducer to play this record. Playing this on a regular diamond disc machine will ruin the record!

Item will be nicely packaged and insured.
