Description
This is a double-sided very rare and hard-to-find original killer from the one and only mouse man.
12" single on the Love Linch Music label out of UK. Record number is LL019A/B. On the A-side we have a tune entitled "No Wicked". This is one of Eek-A-Mouse's earliest released recordings. It originally came out as a Jamaican 7" - entitled "No Wicked Can't Reign" and released under his given name of Ripton Hilton. Here we have it in disco mix format. On the other side there is an equally killer tune entitled "Trying To Be Free". I was not aware of this as a 7" recording, but it is equally brilliant and is obviously from the same period.
Using the vinyl grading systems that I am familiar with, I would describe the condition of this record as "Good". Both sides play with no jumps, but there are obvious marks on the record and some surface noise can be heard in sections (so some sections are clear and other sections play with a bit of noise). The record is in a plain white card sleeve.
Opening price is a less than half of what I paid for it. Please check my feedback and bid with confidence.
