Description
artist : Egg
title : Egg
label : Deram
year : 1970
condition* : VG (cover) / VG+ (wax)
This is Egg's first album after they formed in 1968. Awsome example of Canterbury Rock at its best. A mixture of jazz, psych rock, and even a few funky moments all mixed together in some great original pieces with the exception of an incredible version of Bach's Fugue In D Minor (absolutely worth it for this song alone). Egg is made up of Dave Stewart (organ, piano, tone generator), Mont Campbell (bass, vocals) and Clive Brooks (drums). Very much in the vien of soft machine. The cover shows wear as you can see in the pictures but still very strong, the wax looks and plays beautifully. Doesn't show up much in any condition.
