Eight GLENN MILLER 78's -- Fools Rush In, FAREWELL BLUES, White Cliffs of Dover

This lot contains eight 10-inch 78 RPM records by Glenn Miller and His Orchestra, all on the Bluebird label, and you can assume they're instrumental unless a singer is mentioned (in parentheses) in the list below. All eight are shown in the first picture, then I broke them into two groups, shown respectively in pictures 2 and 3; and 4 and 5.

In the order pictured, they are:

Bluebird # B-10520 -- "Careless" and "Vagabond Dreams" (vocal by Ray Eberle on both sides).

Bluebird # B-10404 -- "Blue Moonlight" and "My Prayer" (vocal by Ray Eberle on both sides).

Bluebird # B-10728 -- "Fools Rush In" (Ray Eberle) and "Yours Is My Heart Alone."

Bluebird # B-10495 -- "Indian Summer" (Ray Eberle) and "Farewell Blues."

Bluebird # B-10290 -- "The Lamp Is Low" and "Blue Evening" (vocal by Ray Eberle on both sides).

Bluebird # B-10372 -- "Blue Orchids" (Ray Eberle) and "Baby Me" (Kay Starr). 

Bluebird # B-11397 -- "The White Cliffs of Dover" and "We're the Couple in the Castle" (vocal by Ray Eberle on both sides).

Bluebird # B-10329 -- "Oh You Crazy Moon" (Ray Eberle) and "Ain't Cha Comin' Out?" (Tex Beneke and Marion Hutton). 

They all look to be in about VG+ to EX condition, still beautifully shiny, and very little visible surface wear. They all play through without jumping or repeating on my Audio-Technica turntable, and with only minimal background static, apart from some occasional hissing, popping or clicking. The two noisiest sides seem to be "My Prayer" and "Blue Moonlight" (both of which have needle digs near the beginning). Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering technology and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well they will play on your equipment.
