Eldridge Holmes – ‘Gone, Gone, Gone’ / ‘Worried Over You’ – Jet Set 765 wd (US)

Eldridge (sometimes Eldrige) Holmes never made a bad record, and this magic slice of NOLA soul on the Washington-based Jet Set label is one of his finest. The flip, with its highly unusual stop-and-start groove, is worth a spin, too. Top copy, don’t miss it!

Condition: Excellent (please listen to the clips). Clean labels, ever so slight flaking round the centre hole on the ‘Gone’ side (please see scans).
