Fine doin's in this Norman Granz production.
The Albeniz guitar that Joe Pass uses traverses heavy ground here with Ella, dancing between standard songs like GEORGIA ON MY MIND, AT LAST, and BLUE AND SENTIMENTAL. Just keep an ear out for the medley THE THRILL IS GONE, with Pass moving into BB King territory and Ella shifting gears right beside. (And don't miss Kurt Weill's SPEAK LOW. Mercy, it's good.)
A truly fine album: Cover without fault; record within is near mint.
