All records are normally visually graded only…not play graded unless needed for a used record. Most of the records will actually be a much higher grade than I state on this site. You can look at the photos and tell from the pictures. Every effort is made to be accurate in the listings. All items are original first pressings unless stated otherwise. I do still find old store stocks and do get never played records in. I have found two such stocks in the last year…all the records were perfectly mint.

Mint / Mint-   =  Store Stock and / or like new

 

VG++  =  really nice record very clean showing only light signs of usage

VG  +    = Nice condition – shows some wear – Most collectors are happy with records this grade and above

 

VG-    = plays okay has signs of wear and some background noise

 

G  = very used record – plays but with noise

 


 I don’t use the E grade as it didn’t exist years ago when the collectors including myself started the mail order Collector’s Records thing in the late 60s and early 70s.
