Ella at Duke's Place Album Autographed by Ella Fitzgerald Autograph
For your consideration, a copy of the album "Ella at Duke's Place" autographed on October 20,
1966 by the greatest ever singer of American popular song, Ella Fitzgerald.
I got this LP at my uncle's used bookstore in the late-1970s. Although not an Ella fan at that time,
I recognized her status in the world of music and bought it as a collector's item. The album has
been kept in a plastic sleeve since.
Unfortunately, the album's previous owner was not as careful. Overall cover is only in OK
condition.
The front cover has shelf wear as seen in the pictures. It also has a water ring in the top left
corner where someone used it for a coaster.
The back cover has shelf wear marks and some staining.
All of these blemishes are visible in the pictures.

The ballpoint pen autograph is still in pretty good shape. Again, see the pictures.
The record itself appears to be in good condition but I have no way to check - I haven't had a
record player for 30+ years. It may play like new or sound like it was recorded at a bacon frying
contest. In any event, the real interest is the autographed cover.
