Description
This is a double vinyl lp of Elliott Smith's 2004 album From A Basement On The Hill. Elliott Smith is one of my favourite artists and I bought this new from a record shop in Liverpool around 5 years ago. It has not had much use because I haven't made a habit of using my record player and as such I think it would be appreciated more by somebody else.
The overall condition is good/very good, please refer to the pictures for best details on this. The cover/outer sleeve is good, but not great. There is a bend/crease to the top left of the front of the cover, it is mostly only visible in the right light, but is significant enough to downgrade the condition slightly, I've tried to capture this in the second-to-last picture. There's also a tiny bit of damage on the back cover which is visible in the final picture. Neither of these faults would ruin the product for me, but I understand different consumers prize different qualities when it comes to buying records. The inner sleeves are in fantastic condition. The records themselves are in fantastic condition, almost as new. There are no faults on playback and I'd wager that it's not been played through more than 5 times. As such I'd say that the condition overall is good to very good. I don't want to oversell as I'm not a big vinyl dealer and am not an expert on assessing the condition so I don't want to mislead anyone, but it looks great on a shelf and plays through perfectly on the turntable; and of course, it's a fantastic album.
Hopefully an opportunity for someone in the UK to pick this up for a decent price and get more use out of it than me. Thanks
