Hello everybody, this auction is for a very, very rare item, and is the 2nd and last of any of its kind in my possession.
It is the 1996 single release by Elliott Smith - "Speed Trials", the format is 7" vinyl, and it has been HAND SIGNED by Elliott in blue marker across the inner sleeve.
This signature was obtained in Manchester in 2000, at the same time as my previous item. Elliott was performing at the University that same night. This item was signed before the gig for a friend on my behalf.
A question I was asked a lot during my last auction was what Elliott was like to speak to and as a person, but I'm afraid I can't say, as it was my then girlfriend who met him, and a mutual friend of ours, they were working alongside the local media as part of their uni courses, and managed to meet a lot of musicians and actors in the city at the time.
We amassed quite a large collection of sig's when we were students, mostly seperately, but I got custody of the Elliott items, don't ask me how, just lucky I guess!
Both sleeve and vinyl are in MINT condition, the signature has not faded whatsoever, although some of the marker has gone through to the back of the inner sleeve, just a couple of blue dots, nothing to worry about.

1) Speed Trials 2) Angeles 3) I Don't Think I'm Ever Gonna Figure It Out.
This is NOT a pre print or a copy, it is the genuine article and although I am reluctant to sell, I simply cannot afford to keep hold of some of my signed memorabilia at the moment. This would look pretty cool on display, maybe in a frame, it's up to you.
