Description

This is the original 10” deep groove “P”- pressing of Elmo Hope “Quintet” on the Lexington Ave. labels of Blue Note BLP 5044.  The first track on Side 1 opens with light tics; the remainder – including Side 2 – is in excellent condition, with inaudible storage splotching; perhaps played once.  The coated frame cover is in excellent condition – bright and clean throughout – with here sharp corners; ½” bump at the lower right corner and ¾” rubbing on the bottom seam, at the opening.  Personnel include Frank Foster, Freeman Lee, Percy Heath, and Art Blakey.  $300.00.
