This is one of many blues records I just don't know when or where I bought, except it has a sticker on the front that says, "WH Smith this bargain only 1.70" so I clearly got it in W.H. Smiths. Apart from that: the outer sleeve, gatefold because it's a double, is torn on one (in)side but apart from a few pinches on the open edge is fine; the inners are bit browned but not torn at all; the vinyl is perfect to my old eyes and it plays superbly. The sleeve notes say that this was the man's final recordings, but I have no idea if that is the case. To (mis) quote George Harrison, "Elmore James got everythin' on me baby!" The matrix numbers all say A1 etc so I assume it is original but it seems kind of thin to me. Any blues fans out there?
