Elton John Goodbye Yellow Brick Road 1973 Purple Vinyl First Pressing EX/EX
I have for sale a Translucent Purple first pressing of the 1973 double album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John, in a tri-fold sleeve. Hold the vinyl records up to the light and they turn purple.

Sleeve is in excellent condition, see photos, there is the previous owners name written on the front of the sleeve and a small nick, I have reflected this in the price.

Records have been played but have an excellent sheen and sound great. Labels are clean and spindle wear is minimum.

Notes: UK pressing on black labels with yellow logo and yellow rim text. other text is silver.

6-panel gatefold sleeve.

Each disc is also marked 1,3,& 4 respectively in the dead wax on the 'alternate matrices' version, except '2' is not noted on Side 2

Track A1 'Funeral For A Friend / Love Lies Bleeding' each has separate credits though is on one track.
Track A3 is spelt on sleeve as 'Bennie And The Jets', and on vinyl labels as 'Benny And The Jets'.
Track B4 is spelt on sleeve as 'Jamaica Jerk-Off', and on vinyl labels as 'Jamaica Jerk Off'.
