Description
Elton John “Greatest Hits” Vinyl LP/Album 1974 MCA Records. This album is in excellent condition. There is wear along the top, bottom, spline and along the edges of the album opening. There are a couple of spots on the left side of the front cover and their are a few spots and some very light scratches. There are also a couple of creases on the left bottom part of the front cover. The back cover is in good condition as well, but there are several small creases on the right side and bottom. Also, there is some wearing at the top and bottom of the back where the front and back covers are attached. The inner sleeve is the original sleeve that came with the album and gives the credits for each song on the album on one side and pictures of Bernie Taupin and the Elton John band on the reverse side. It is in very good condition for its age and how much this album was played/handled. It is completely intact, except for a small slit on the bottom from the weight of the vinyl penetrating through the thin cardboard. The condition of the Vinyl is mixed. Side 1 looks to be in very good condition and there are no visible signs of scratching or fingerprint. However on Side 2, there are numerous scratches in one area on songs 2 and 3. I had a friend at the time that always wanted to listen to “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down on Me and that might be why the scratches are on that track. I can’t remember if this album had any playability issues, but discovered I did buy another copy of it years later and believe this vinyl could have some skipping or other issues. However, I no longer have a turntable to test the album.

Please know that I am not making money off either the shipping or this additional handling charge, just covering most of my shipping expenses. I am using these special boxes to hopefully ensure the LP/Album is not damage during shipment. I will ship USPS Media Mail, unless requested differently by the purchaser.
