Elton John Greatest Hits Vol 1. DCC Records analog remaster from 1995. Bought this used about 15 years ago and was my main go to play copy. Well what can you say about the music on this compilation. Elton at his best.
Just gave it a listen all the way through let me say tight punchy base, nice lower mid range and this is dead quiet vinyl, as most of these DCC's are. Hardly a tick in this pressing. Like a lot of these DCC's they are a little veiled and might sound a little dull at lower volumes. Turn it up though and uncover what's in the grooves. As with any compilation some tracks sound better than others, but overall you can do a lot worse.
The cover is a little worn with a couple small seam splits but the vinyl is mint, mint-.
