Description
After some research, I have found that two of these went up for sale in the last year, each for more than $70.00 USD.
This is Elton John's "West of the Rockies." It includes songs from two of his concerts in 1975, one being at the Dodger Stadium, the other in San Diego.
Songs included on this album are: Your Song, Lucy In The Sky, I Saw Her Standing There, Island Girl, Harmony, Pinball Wizard, Captain Fantastic, Someone Saved My Life Tonight, Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me
The cover is not remarkable, being plain white with a lime-green title sheet pasted on it. There seems to be some writing embossed into the cover that says "Live '75." The back has a stamp in blue ink that says "Collector's Edition Colored Vinyl." Indeed, the album inside is a beautiful marbled green color.There is a plain paper sleeve which shows aging and has some dog-earing. Both the cover and the sleeve have small amounts of wear and damage. The vinyl is stunning and seemingly perfect. I did notice, upon close inspection, that a riddle is scratched into the vinyl, just around the labels (which also show some wear). On both sides it says "How do you keep a John Denver fan busy? (over)" Heh, heh!
