Description
Due to a future downsizing the time has come for me to sell 90% of my vast collection that has been put together the last 46 years. Its going to be a slow process over the next two years and will include some extremely rare items.
Up for sale in this listing is one of the rarest concert programmes and ticket combinations that seldom if ever comes on to the open market due to the fact of the extremely small venue this one off concert took place in so not many existed in the first place . With the passage of time I guess most programmes for this show have long disappeared.
This is the very simple four page A4 size programme complete with original ticket Stub for Elton's Royal Festival Hall concert on the evening of March 3rd 1971.
This was when Elton's band consisted of just him, Nigel Olsson and Dee Murray. They were accompanied with an orchestra arranged and conducted by the late Paul Buckmaster.
It is a programme that eludes most collections. For its close to 50 years of age its condition is incredible with just a few minor creases.No rips or tears. Some slight age foxing.
