DJM Records ?– FP-80211
Printed on Deep Red Vinyl. The record set includes a lyric book with original text and also the japanese translation.Grading:
Cover: VG; very nice textured gatefold cover with some turned up corners (see pictures)
Insert: VG; Japanese text translation, very nice original lyric book which is no more attached to the gatefold cover and with some spots and turned up corners (see pictures)
OBI Strip: NM; it looks like new
Colored Vinyl both sided: VG, fingerprints, spots (Flecken) and light scratches which could have some negative impact on one's listening experience (especially in quiter passages); but this possible surface noise should not overpower the music otherwise.
Label Side both sides: VG, some scratches around the center hole, otherwise clean and in good shape
All in one a nice copy of a rare Japanese Vinyl LP, which had been manufactured by Toshiba Musical Industries LTD. in Japan
Please have also a look to my other items already listed or to be published within the next days / weeks
Record Grading System according to the „Goldmine Standards“
Mint (M)
The Record is absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, possibly even still sealed. As I grade my records very carefully, I never use Mint. If a record is still sealed, I mention this in my describtions.
Near Mint (NM or M-)
A nearly perfect record. The record shows no obvious signs of wear, with no surface marks or deterioration which could have an impact on the sound quality.
A 45 RPM or EP sleeve has no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling.
An LP cover has no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable similar defects. No cut-out holes, either. And of course, the same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves and the like.
The record itself is in brand new condition
Very Good Plus (VG+)
A Very Good Plus record shows some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.
Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that shouldn’t affect one's listening experiences.
The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play.
Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves may have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount
Very Good (VG)
Many of the defects found in a VG+ record are more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise is evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
Labels can be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.
The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.
