Description
Up for auction is the Elvis Gold Standard Series 45 Good Rockin' Tonight b/w I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine 447-0602. This is another hard to find and desirable sleeve.
This 45 was released June, 1964. The numbers in the trail off are;
Side 1-J2PW-5686-5s
Side 2-J2PW-5685-5s
CONDITION -
Sleeve- I would rate this a GOOD +. It shows some ring wear. Some discoloration/staining along the bottom. There is a purple stain near the middle of the sleeve. The top front and corners have some creases. Along the top front and back have some curling. Please look at the pictures closely. I am trying to be honest and point out any and all imperfections.
Record- GOOD+ Once again, trying to be as honest as possible. Several surface scuffs and visible scratches. But, it plays through VERY clear with very little hiss and pop. The sound quality is surprising with the look of the vinyl.
Labels- I would say VG- on both sides. Minimal ring wear, no stickers or writing.
Please study all pictures. I am offering a rare picture sleeve which in its own right makes it valuable and collectible. I do however, want to say that it is far from perfect. I have seen much much worse examples of this sleeve over the years so I am selling it with confidence.
I have owned this for many years and it has been stored in a climate controlled smoke free home.
