Description
The story goes back in 2005 when an ex-former RCA representative gifted the Elvis Fan Club of ten original A12P-0031 records. The Fan Club CEO decided to couple the ten original discs with a Special Fan Club picture sleeve printed exclusively for the 50th Anniversary of the italian RCA release of the first Elvis 33rpm Lp which originally was in October 1956; with the final aim to promote such idea to both BMG in Milan & the major music Distributors & Retailers operating in Italy in order to reprint the same project but in much greater scale using the same sleeve layout and reprinting the first Elvis Lp on a new vinyl support. But at the end....all this never happened as the BMG in Milan did not approve the project being involved copyright issues. So, the 10 copies remained in the hand of the Fan Club except some which was given to some italian collectors. I was one of the few lucky person who received a copy back in 2006: the #4. The record is 100% GENUINE FIRST PRESS SILVER LINES FROM OCT-1956 and comes with an original italian RCA Inner Sleeve. Strong VG+ condition.
The Picture Sleeve IS NOT of course the 1956 original version but the SPECIAL FAN CLUB ITALIAN RCA 50th Ann. version with a super layout showing Elvis on stage back in 1956 and FULLY LAMINATED FRONT & BACK ! IN MINT CONDITION.
10 copies only of this special promotional Fan Club PS with the original 1956 silver lines record were ever pressed back in September 2006. Original italian RCA Inner Sleeve. This finally ranks among the RAREST Elvis release. VERY VERY RARE ! THIS IS THE ONLY COPY I GOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE.
