After 25 years of collecting, in an attempt to find mint records and mint jackets, I've amassed boxes of duplicates - many just a half grade off near mint (VG+ or better) as well as sealed LPs; Now, those boxes of records have to go.

Elvis Presley - Elvis' Christmas Album (1957 Original Pressing) 

• Pressing:  1957, Canadian Pressing
• Label:  RCA, red label with silver print - an "Original Cast Series" label
• Catalog number:  LOC-1035
• Grade (LP / Jacket / Inside pages): VG+/ VG+ / VG++
• the LP has some ticks here and there but the overall sonic quality of the vinyl is quiet - there's no constant hiss or crackle,
• as you can see in the photos, the jacket has a seam split, a spot - from water? - on the lower right side, but fortunately no ring wear, and
• the inside pages are all there (page one has a very small tear in the upper left corner fixed from the white page side where the contents are listed) and all the pages are in exceptionally clean condition with no pen marks on them, no creases, and no tears other than the small one mentioned on page one)
• Book value:  ignoring the supposed $400 value of the "gift sticker" which I believe has always been way over-valued, this LP in NM is listed in both the Presleyana Price Guide and Goldmine at $500, so about $250 in this condition. 
• Other info: 
• I own the US pressing as well and believe that the only difference between the two is that for some reason it was pressed in Canada on the red "Original Cast Series" label.  Maybe they just didn't know how to categorize a half gospel-Christmas and half rock and roll Christmas LP - I just don't know.
• The jacket is the exact same one the was packed with the LP in the USA.  The jacket and the last inside page have "Printed in USA" printed at the lower right corner.
• Because of the weight of the fold-out jacket, this would cost the same as a 2 LP set to send, and due to the value would HAVE TO be sent with a tracking number

Please note:  My goal is to provide collectors with excellent records - no garage sale items!  All LPs have been cleaned on a VPI cleaning machine, graded carefully and priced accordingly.  I'll quote the "book" prices just as a reference - and let you know based on 25 years of collecting if I think the price is way too high or way to low - and use the Goldmine grading system:

• MINT (M):  Absolutley perfect in every way.  Should be used sparingly as a grade if at all.
• Near Mint (NM or M-):  A nearly perfect record.  The record should show no obvious signs of wear, and the jacket should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut out holes or any other similar noticable defect.  Basically, an LP in NM condition looks as if you just got it home from the record store and removed the shrink wrap.
• Very Good Plus (VG+):  A VG+ record will some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took care of it.  Record surfaces may hsow some slight signs of wear and may have very light scratches that do not affect one's listening pleasure.  An LP jacket may also have slight signs of wear and may be marred by a cut-out hole or other indication it was sold at a discount.  In general, if not for a couple of minor things wrong with it, this would be a NM record.  I will occasionally amend this grade by referring to an LP as being in VG++ condition just to indicate how very small any jacket or LP defect may be that would stop me from using M- as the grade.  A jacket in VG++ shape may have a corner ding that is common even in brand new records you find on store shelves.
• Very Good (VG):  Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc.  Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a songs intro and fade, but will not overpower the music.

There are other grades below VG, but they don't apply to the LPs I'm listing.  Unless the LP is especially collectable and expensive (like rare Jazz or Presley LPs) I just won't waste your time and money with anything less than VG+.

***ALL LPS ARE GUARNTEED TO BE AS DESCRIBED - I will play grade all LPs to determine if there is any surface noise, evaluate and report on it, and if there is a scratch or mark on the vinyl I will test that section to see if it is audible.  Just because I had to buy several copies of an LP to get one in VG+ or better shape doesn't mean that you should have to as well.

Postage:  Don't trust the ebay postage calculator.  I have checked at a Canada Post outlet and the cost of mailing this LP with a tracking number would be $18. 

I'd be glad to combine multiple auciton wins into one package to save postage costs. 

Auction winners will have their shipments sent out within a couple of days of their PayPal payment being received.  All LPs will be mailed in proper LP mailer boxes with the LP placed outside and behind the jacket to protect the jacket seams from damage.  You'll get the kind of consideraiton that I wish I had always received from eBay sellers.  If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
