Description
Up for auction is Elvis Love Me Tender EP HMV 7EG-8199. It was pressed in Great Britain circa 1957.
SIDE 1-
LOVE ME TENDER
LET ME
SIDE 2-
POOR BOY
WE'RE GONNA MOVE
The cover is in very good shape. Slight discoloration due to age but still is crisp and has its original glossy finish. It shines when held under a light bulb. On the back the bottom "flap" is coming loose but just needs a dab of non acidic glue. The edges have slight dings but no tears, bends, pinholes, etc.
The labels on the record are great on both sides with the punch out center still intact.
The vinyl has several light scuff marks and light scratches. It plays through with no skips and very little hiss and cracks.
Overall a nice example of this 1957 Great Britain pressing. In my opinion this cover is far superior to the US version.
Thanks for looking and good luck!
