Elvis- Heartbreak Hotel -Original USA EP with rare p/s

Description

This is an auction for a GREAT copy of the HARD TO FIND 1956 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY Heartbreak Hotel released in the USA.

The record itself (EPA-821 dog on top)is in VERY GOOD/ VERY GOOD+ condition with quite a few light marks/scratches (none too deep) and retains some of it's natural sheen. The centre labels are CRISP,CLEAN and have NO WRITING (but there is some residue from where tape has been removed, see photos). This really is a nice ORIGINAL.

The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2002 as $55-60  in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+)for the  sleeve alone!!!

This sleeve is  50 years old and is in great condition for the age. There are NO RIPS, TEARS or WRITING. The colours are nice and sharp and very clean for the age. The only thing that stops this grading higher is seam splits on both the top and the bottom almost all the way along(see photos) This is a really affordable collection filler until that MINT £70+ copy comes along. The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!

Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $70(£40approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £45  With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!

Please look at my other auctions for some more great Elvis USA picture sleeve lots.
