Another week of FANTASTIC Elvis collectables is up and ROCKIN'! and what a week, This week is ALL about those Beautiful Bonus Photos of the 1960s and early 70s, To promote record sales, RCA would offer special Bonus Promotional Items that were either offered INSIDE a newly released ELVIS LP or at the Sales Counter when the ELVIS item was purchased, Today these items are some of the hardest to find and most valuable Elvis Collectables out there, some selling well beyond their book value, and rightly so. Today I am offering 13 of those VERY hard to find Bonus items along with their ORIGINAL Lps and inner paper sleeves. Well, enought talk, Let's log onto E-bay and have some FUN!
Next up, On the RCA Record label# LSP-2894 titled KISSIN COUSINS, This is the RCA Victor in Silver/STEREO @ bottom 1st pressing from March of 1964 and does include the Ultra Rare Bonus Photo, NOTE: This is one of 2 Elvis Lps I have found in the San Diego Area in the past 3 years, infact this one was found about 3 miles from where I found the 1st one, The 1st one was A Worlds Fair Lp and almost the same insert, that one folded around the edge of the cover while this one is flat. The 1st one I kind of thought was a fluke and shouldnt have been there, but now finding a second makes me think that it is possible the record store was placing these inserts along with the Bonus Photos inside the Baggies BEFORE sealing? I have also found one or 2 other record labels in this area with the same insert as well, Columbia and Capitol, was it placed by RCA? I don't think so, But even placed by the record store makes it a rarity, so I will leave it where it was found, Good Luck on this one!! The conditiion of this cover is very nice and still in its original shrink Baggy, NO splits, still crisp & clean, The vinyl is also very nice, still all the shine & luster of a new record, does have a bit of light scratching on one side, still plays through very nicely, labels are clean with NO stickers, writing or tears, original Elvis RCA inner paper sleeve is included. Bonus photo is Stone MINT!
