Description

This an original Elvis Presley debut album from 1956. It is in mono and labels "P.D." (public domain) as the credit for the song Just Because, which is shown only on the first pressings of the record. It is a defining rock and roll album that is the first to top the charts and to sell one million copies. The cover is in very good shape with aging and is taped in a few spots but well kept for being 54 years old. The record itself is in very good condition and plays nicely with absolutely no skips. Stamped into the wax are the codes G2 PP1282 3S and G2 PP1282 1S. Someone neatly taped their name on both sides of the label, but it does not affect play. All in all, a rare and fantastic find!
