    • Burning Love was one of Elvis Presley's last real rock songs. Released by Island records on August 1, 1972. Here is a 24K Plated and framed "Burning Love" .45 Record display to commemorate such a great song.

      Included in the frame is the "Burning Love" photo cover featuring Elvis Presley. Also included on this record are the Lyrics to "Burning Love," laser etched into the top layer of gold.

      For the weeks of October 21 and 28, 1972, "Burning Love" rose to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

      The song was Elvis 40th and last Top Ten hit on the US charts. It was also one of the last real rock songs in the last years of his life; from 1972-1977 the majority of his songs were ballads and many of those placed on Billboards Hot Country Singles chart.

      "Burning Love" was one of the few exceptions, along with "Promised Land" in 1974. Indeed Elvis never wanted to record the song and only did so to appease his session musicians who repeatedly begged him to do so.
