Description

This Elvis 78 is cracked but it's still playable.  "Mystery Train", backed with, "I Forgot To Remember To Forget You".   May still work on a jukebox or it would be nice for a wall ornament.   Except for that crack, it's G condition.

This record will be packed very carefully.  It'll be placed between several layers of flat cardboard and it will be put in a box much larger and insulated enough so the crack doesn't spread.    Since it is in the condition it's in, I won't insure the crack, but if it arrives completely broken or lost, then it'll be covered.

Condition Grading:

I try to keep condition grading as simple as possible. Opinions on the matter tend to be subjective, so the simpler, the better.  Grading is visual.

"Excellent" doesn't mean "perfect". An unplayed 78 can still have substantial surface noise, but it's still "excellent". It's as good as it's gonna get.

E = Excellent:  Extraordinarily good condition for it's age.

G = Good:  A low mileage record with some surface noise, light wear.

F = Fair:  A high mileage record with moderate scratches, scuffs and surface noise.

L = Lousy:  Extensive wear or damage. OK for jukebox or target practice.  Probably impossible to digitally clean up.

S&H:
Items are sent USPS Priority only.  I use Priority instead of Media Rate for several reasons; faster transit time; less chance for damage; predictable arrival time.  Record collectors take their collections seriously, so getting them delivered faster is better for all of us.

Insurance:
I always ensure that you receive the package in good order.   Whether I take out insurance or insure it myself, it's at my discretion.  Either way you're covered.
