ELVIS PRESLEY - “A DATE WITH ELVIS” (LPM-2011), A FIRST PRESSING WITH GATE FOLD COVER, SHOWING ARMY PHOTOS INSIDE AND THE 1960 CALENDAR ON THE BACK!         RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with a small amount of very light scuffs on the clean, glossy surfaces. The only indication that I have in determining the pressing plant that this record hails from, is the engraved matrix numbers in the dead wax trail-off. This is indicative of a product from the Rockaway plant. I played this record in its entirety and it sounded great! Very strong vocals and instrumentation with absolutely no skips, repeats or annoying "ticks"! Released in September of 1959, this album is comprised of songs that were previously released exclusively on 45 RPM. This album has obviously been adult-owned since new because of the condition. The vast majority of these are pretty much beat in comparison. The labels are without any writing or stickers, but do show some fingerprinting as well as a couple of light spindle marks. The engraved matrix numbers end with 2S/2S.
COVER: VG+ with just a 2-inch right-hand seam split. A very minor central seam break is seen to the opposing side. Other than that, this is one very original and highly attractive cover! Some very light surface scuffing caused by contact with other LP's over the years is noticed under inspection, but it is in no way, considered offensive to the eye. The spine is solid and fully legible. Some minor corner wear is noticed, but this is almost unavoidable on these vintage covers. The Red sticker showing the songs that are included is in beautiful condition! The inside of the gatefold cover, which includes many photos of Elvis in his U.S. Army uniform, is amazingly clean and glossy with absolutely no cracks, writing or tears. Add this piece of Rock 'n' Roll history to your collection today!       INNER SLEEVE: The original RCA Victor sleeve from the era, which depicts other albums available at the time.

GOOD LUCK!   I COMBINE SHIPPING! $4 for the first LP, then 25 cents for each additional LP. FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, please do not ask me to place a low value on the Customs form or to check "Gift" instead of "Merchandise"!  I ship all records in the CORRECT cardboard record mailers, specifically designed for shipping these historic and tough-to-replace treasures to your doorstep in the same condition as when they leave my hands. USPS has been known to find a way to bend these boxes on occasion, hard as that may be to believe, so items valued at $30 or more will be shipped automatically with insurance at no additional cost to the buyer. ALL of my records are U.S. pressings unless otherwise stated.  Payment is expected within 5 (Five) days from close of auction via PAY PAL ONLY – NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE. I normally ship within three business days from close of auction, but please allow a little extra time in the event of a holiday.  Returns are accepted if you are accepted if you are not completely satisfied with your item. I strongly believe that my grading of records is spot-on, but we’re all human and something may occasionally be missed upon inspection. I will do my best to ensure customer satisfaction. 2017 marks 39 years of experience for me in this wonderful hobby. I specialize in Elvis Presley.
