Description

This is an auction for an Original copy of the HARD TO FIND 1959 DOG ON TOP EP release Elvis Presley - A Touch Of Gold Volume 2 released in the USA.

The record itself (EPA-5101 DOG ON TOP) is in VERY GOOD+/ VERY GOOD condition.

The centre labels have NO WRITING (see photos)

The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $60 in the condition it is in now (which i would say is VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD) for the sleeve alone!!!

This sleeve is 58 years old and is in reasonable condition for the age.(see photos)

This hard to find sleeve has nice colour and NO WRITING!(see photos)

The only thing that stops this from grading higher is a partial seam split on the top and bottom, ringwear and some age discolouration on the rear.

That all said this is a great affordable collection filler until that mint £160+ copy comes along!

The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this RARE sleeve!!

Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $120+(£95 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £100+.

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
