Original Purple and Gold HMV 1st issue (1956)in company sleeve. Plays suprisingly well for such an oldie! Has a good shine although there are pops and ticks noticeable on BLUE MOON and also a needle scratch at 3 o'clock, plus a few surface marks, pity, otherwise I could confidently and accurately Grade as VG+/EX-. Side 2 however plays superbly and is a fabulous track. There is surface noice, more noticeable on the quieter Blue Moon. This is a rare record indeed and has the pop out centre which is even harder to find. Well its far from perfect and may make a nice display on a wall once framed as the labels are bright and clear and are totally unspoilt. Choice is yours. Overall I grade this a VG.

On 30-Oct-06 at 12:19:27 GMT, seller added the following information: To add more light on the needle scatch it is by no means as horrific as it sounds (sorry for the pun). It can only be detected under bright light and it appears that it is a slightly deeper than the frequently found surface marks that often appears on many 45s. Hope that helps.
